2022 Trout ‘Season Opening’ and Bass Fishing Competition!

2022 is the year! The wattle’s are blooming which can only mean one thing… Trout opening!!

On behalf of the Dargo & District Angling Club, we would like to announce that the annual Trout Season Opening & Bass Fishing Competition will commence on Saturday the 3rd September 2022.

TROUT ‘SEASON OPENING’ & BASS FISHING OPENING COMPETITION
Commencing Saturday 3rd September AT 12.01am (Just after midnight Friday)
Closes Sunday 4th at 11.00am.
Weigh-in & presentation at noon at the ‘Shed Bar’, Dargo Hotel.
Please note the addition of Bass and associated conditions.
RULES
Open to fully paid members only.
All fish must be presented cleaned for weigh-in.
All persons must carry current fishing licence.
Trout
Max. 5 fish per person per day.
Only 2 over 35cm per person per day.
Seniors to remain minimum 26cm.
Juniors – no limit.
Bass
Max. 2 fish only, per person, per day.
Min. length – 27cm.

Prizes for heaviest Carp/Eel (Garbage fish).
Secret weight (draw of all fish weighed).
