Damned Sam & The Preachers are headed over the hill this Labour Day Long weekend to play their first gig on the Shed Bar Stage. They’ll be kicking off at 8.30pm on Saturday the 7th of March.

They’re a road-worn country band from Victoria’s Ovens Valley, drawing influence from Chris Stapleton and the Turnpike Troubadours, filtered through a life grown in the bush rather than the glare of Music Row.

Playing your Favorite covers as well as their original songs — “She Only Loves Me When She’s Drunk,” “Ovens Valley Pines” and “Heaven Sent” — they tell stories of love gone wrong, long roads and the rugged beauty of rural Australia, led by the gritty vocals of songwriter Sam McIntosh.

So bring your dancing shoes and get ready for a ripper night of your favorite covers as well as some fantastic original tunes.
